Exchange Wk30 – Delaware Beach Stay

🏝 Beach Time 🏈

From March 6 to March 9 I spent time with ten of my friends from the Christian Union at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware for spring break. It was a really relaxing time, and a good opportunity to spend time in fellowship with each other. Unfortunately, it was far too cold to swim at the beach, but it was still fun to play football on the beach, a sport I’d never played before. Here are some beach photos!

We also went up an observation tower which offered scenic views of the beachside. Interestingly, these towers were created during World War II to survey incoming enemy battleships. Also, at the base of the tower, some people had constructed the outline of a bear which looked awesome from the top of the tower.

On the last full day in Delaware, we went for a walk around a picturesque lake!

Some other highlights from the trip included playing Madden, watching the Hunger Games movies, and going to my first IHOP!

⭐️ Other Things ⭐️

Some other highlights from the rest of the week included going on my first Trader Joe’s trip with Rachel, having a nice dinner with Corry and Mary Leslie with some fellow college students from my Church, as well as meeting Michaela’s dog Sylvie!
